Exploring Science Fiction especially as a writer has been an exciting adventure. It is will be even more exciting visiting places where SciFi movies have been filmed and the cities of Science Fiction writer. There's a possibly of picking up on their inspirations for one of my own SciFi works.

The Journey Begins...
In German "Wanderlust" means having a strong longing for or impulse toward wandering. As a military brat and one who actually lived in Germany for awhile... "Wanderlust" would definitely define me. Lately life has taken over and my adventurous spirit has been put to the side for a moment... looking forward to getting back on my path of traveling the world looking for the best in Music and the Outdoor Adventure, Writing and SciFi.
Beach Photography
When I was younger I did not like the photos with just scenery... today it may be my favorite. I believe it's because I have some of the best memories being outside and I can put myself back there when looking at the picture.
It had been awhile since I had gotten up early to take some photos and was inspired this one particular morning. On top of that I was in the mood to take a long drive... so I drove all the way to Carolina Beach.
It's was a early fall day and so there weren't many people, in this particular case no one, on the beach. For me that's the best time to go to the beach. It's still fairly cool and the sun is either starting to rise or still rising. I love this pic because the sun is partly behind the cloud... and there is a little color/sparkle.
With my nice drive (I do my best thinking awhile driving) and the inspiration from the scenery... I had a nice time doing some writing.
